The final NIMB Board meeting of the year has a limited agenda: Approving the 2024-2025 NIMB Budget, and voting on new members to the Executive Board. The business portion of the meeting should only take about 30 minutes, and then we will adjourn for a social gathering to celebrate the end of the year at our neighborhood beer garden - Calicraft! Feel free to bring the whole family! Food truck is always on-site for a delicious dinner option.

Concert Band, Symphonic Winds and Orchestra will play their final performance in the beautiful Hoffman Theater at the Lesher Center in Downtown Walnut Creek on Monday, May 13 at 7:00pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to invite your friends and families to see your student perform an a professional setting - our students deserve a large audience so ask all the aunties and uncles, grandparents and cousins to see your student shine on stage for this incredible event!

The Northgate HS Jazz Program has performed at Yoshi's for 15 years and is excited to share an evening of jazz with you! You can catch the hottest show in high school jazz at our appearance at Yoshi’s, Tuesday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m!

These two accomplished jazz bands from Walnut Creek are directed by Roberto Garcia-Leiva, Instrumental Music Director at Northgate High School. Most recently, Jazz Band 1 earned 2nd Place and a Finalist placement at 2024 Folsom Jazz Festival, a 3rd place at the 2024 Campana Jazz Festival, a “Unanimous Superior” Rating at the 2024 CMEA Festival, and a Command Performance at the Santa Cruz Jazz Festival.
